How to Set Up TikTok Pixel?

Last updated on Jul 23, 2025

TikTok Pixel is a tool from TikTok for Business that helps track user interactions with your Choko page. It allows you to see what happens after someone clicks on a link: who visited, how many people clicked, and whether they returned later. This is especially useful for advertising campaigns on TikTok.

How it Works on Choko.Link

When you add your TikTok Pixel tracking ID to your Choko.Link page, we automatically embed the pixel on your page. You don't need to manually add scripts or modify HTML code.

How to Get Your Tracking ID

To find your TikTok Pixel tracking ID:

  1. Log in to TikTok Ads Manager and go to "Tools"

  2. Click "Event" to enter TikTok Events Manager

  3. Click "Connect Data Source"

  4. Select "Web"

  5. Input your page URL

  6. Choose "Manual Setup" as your connection method

  7. Create and name your pixel. We recommend using a name that corresponds to your domain or website

  8. Copy the tracking ID from the pixel code. This will be an alphanumeric code like: A1BCD2FG34HIJK56NOPQ

How to Verify Everything Works

The easiest way to check is to install the free TikTok Pixel Helper extension in Google Chrome browser:

When you visit your Choko page, the extension will show active pixels and events that were recorded.

You can also use the Test Events feature in TikTok Events Manager to verify event reception.

Where to View Analytics

All data on page views, traffic sources, and events can be viewed in TikTok Events Manager through TikTok Ads Manager. You can also create custom audiences there, check if the pixel is working within advertising campaigns, or set up events for conversions.
