With Google Analytics, you can track traffic and user behavior on your Choko.Link profile: how many times visitors click different elements, where they come from, and which parts of your page are most popular.
When you add your Google Analytics ID to your Choko.Link page, we automatically embed the analytics script into your page. You don't need to manually insert any scripts or edit your HTML.
Step 1. Create a property in Google Analytics
-
Sign in to your Google Analytics account.
-
Go to the Admin section (gear icon in the bottom-left corner).
-
Under the Property column, click "Create Property".
-
Enter a name (e.g. "Choko.Link – My Profile"), select your reporting time zone and currency.
-
Save.
Tip: For mobile users, it's recommended to set up a separate data stream in GA4 with type "Web". You'll need the "Stream ID" in the next step.
Step 2. Get your Tracking ID
For Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
-
In the Admin section, under "Data Collection and Modification", select Data Streams.
-
Click your web data stream.
-
Copy the "Stream ID" (format: G‑XXXXXXXXXX).
For Universal Analytics (UA) (legacy)
-
In Admin, under the Property column, go to Property Settings → Tracking Info → Tracking Code.
-
Copy the Tracking ID (format: UA‑XXXXXX‑1).
Step 3. Add your ID to Choko.Link
-
Sign in to your Choko.Link dashboard.
-
Go to the Analytics tab.
-
Paste your Tracking ID (UA‑) or Stream ID (G‑) into the Google Analytics field.
-
Click Save.
Once saved, Choko.Link will automatically add the Google Analytics script to your page.
Step 4. Verify your setup
-
Go back to Google Analytics.
-
Open the Realtime report.
-
Open your Choko.Link page in a new browser tab and click a few links.
-
You should see user activity in the report.
